Accurate Reservoir Sampling Without Contamination
Sampling closer to the reservoir ensures no mercury is lost to the sub-surface and surface infrastructure, meaning less time flowing through the well before representative samples can be taken, and avoiding contamination from chemical injection.
The unique design incorporates a novel mechanism to ensure that mercury remains with the sample, and is not lost due to adsorption, chemisorption or precipitation. NRS deployment is flexible – tools can be run in carrier as part of a DST string, or on wireline / slickline for standalone sampling operations.
