Well Construction Efficiency 

• Drilling Optimization

Our portfolio of ADVANCE Drilling Tools such as the Harmonic Isolation (HI) Tool and the Drill String Torque Reducer (DSTR) enable ROP to be maximized, while the DAV-MX™ and CBI optimize hole cleaning efficiency while drilling, and the HYPR HOLESAVER™ minimizes the consequence of stuck pipe by enabling and maximizing drill string recovery.  In addition, proprietary tools like the Activated Drilling Scraper (ADS) allow packer setting areas to be cleaned and prepared for liner setting while pulling out of the drilling run, thus preventing a dedicated clean out run.

• Conductor Running & Driving

With a comprehensive inventory of conductor pipe and proprietary connectors in stock, Expro’s capabilities extend far beyond conventional handling and make-up equipment for running conductor.  

From connectors, high fatigue specialty fabrication, hammer services, and remote-control hands-free conductor running solutions like the Jet String Elevator™, Expro has the technologies, experience and expertise to safely and proficiently pick-up, make-up and run (or drive) the heaviest of tubulars at the rig site. 

• Casing Running & Cementing

With a vast array of solutions for casing running and cementing, Expro lead the market with remote and digital technologies that enable casing to be run with red zone management and operational performance at the forefront of every operation we do.  Flagship technologies like Centri-FI™ have enabled a new era of digital and integrated controls, allowing the full suite of Tubular Running equipment to be controlled from a single touch screen tablet, whist iTONG™ has impressed the market with unrivaled performance in connection make-up efficiency and integrity.

The range of wireless controlled rotational cement heads and plug launchers with Skyhook™ cement line make-up device continue to enhance rig floor safety and ensure optimal cement placement can be achieved to minimize well integrity risks for the life of the well.  

• Liner Running & Cementing

Enabled by Cure™ and Coretrax technologies Expro offer solutions that enable single-trip solutions for liner running & cementing.  The Activated Drilling Scraper (ADS) and scrapers allow the liner hanger packer setting area to be cleaned up without a dedicated trip.  SeaCureRS™ technologies take the story further, enabling the liner to be floated to TD, and leaving no cemented shoe track to drill out.

• Well Bore Clean Up

Our comprehensive range of ORIGIN wellbore clean up tools ensures timely and effective clean-up is achieved in preparation for a successful completion run or drill stem test.  Whether tackling cement, scale or junk downhole, or filtering mud at surface to achieve the specified solids content, Expro has the complete suite of clean-up and filtration tools to ensure wells are clean and ready to move to the next development phase.   

• Well Test

With decades of global experience in clean-up and flow back, surface well test, drill stem testing, sampling and fluid analysis, Expro has the technology and expertise to design and complete a comprehensive Well Test to prove the performance or your well.  From MegaFlow™ cleanup packages through to our Multi-Phase Flow Meter and Modular Metering Solutions, Expro’s toolbox is full of technologies that deliver accurate data from the rig site for on-job and post-job analysis.

• Completion Running

Since 1938 Expro’s Tubular Running Services division has forged a path with excellence in design and innovation at the heart of the business.  Mitigating risks when running Chrome and Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) tubing is just one key part of what Expro has to offer.  The proprietary Collar Load Support™ system and Fluid Grip™ tong remain the industries only systems that eliminate ferrous contact and eliminate marks from inserts and dies.  The recent development and deployment of the Remote Clamp Installation System (RCIS) paired with the Sheaveless Control Line Manipulator Arm (SCLMA) is the latest technological advancement in completion running to take the industry by storm.  Enabling clamps to be installed remotely, this new technology is transforming activities at the rig site and setting new standards for completion running operations around the world. 

• Well Commissioning

Our subsea well access business offers a full suite of completion commissioning technology that leads the subsea market supported by the portfolio of in-riser Expro Landing String Assembly (ELSA) solutions from shelf environments to ultra-deepwater and open water subsea well access solutions. 

Our well intervention product line provides perforation and logging services to access and evaluate reservoir performance, delivering well performance characteristics, enabling data driven decisions to shape future actions.
