We are aware of instances where fraudulent offers of employment are sent by individuals or organizations using Expro’s name and logo.

This may be through fake websites or through unsolicited emails claiming to be Expro. Emails often ask you to provide personal information and make payments to progress false applications. They can appear legitimate by including salary and benefit information.

Expro never asks for payment or fees from candidates to secure a job. Expro will never offer a job to prospective candidates without speaking with you.

You should not respond to these fraudulent communications or provide financial or personal information to anyone you do not know.

Here are some common examples of red flags to help you identify fraudulent job offers.

• A large salary for very little work (i.e. job descriptions that state thousands of dollars of income per month with little or no experience required).
• The ability to work from home and asks you to purchase office equipment such as a printer, scanner, computer, for which they will send you money via checks or request your account information to wire money.
• The email address is from a domain other than the company’s website, such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Live (i.e. gmail.com, yahoo.com, live.com).
• Messages that contain numerous grammatical and spelling errors.
• You are asked to participate in an interview via text and/or requires you to create a Google Hangout account for the interview.
• The employer calls or texts you, but you are unable to call them back on the same number because it is unavailable.
• You are asked to provide your credit card, bank account numbers, photo ID, or other personal financial documentation.
• You are asked to deposit checks into your bank account or requires you to purchase gift cards of any kind.

Remember, the only way to apply for a job at Expro is through the company website.
