Expro supports Germany’s Lionheart geothermal project, enabling renewable power and lithium extraction with advanced well testing to advance Europe’s energy transition and security.

Germany’s Lionheart Project - recognized under the EU Critical Raw Materials Act - is a key component of Europe’s energy transition strategy, combining geothermal energy, lithium production, and sustainable resource development.

We’re supporting the project through a Master Services Agreement with VERCANA GmbH (part of Vulcan Energy Resources GmbH), alongside a contract award to deliver well testing services for the Schleidberg cluster – one of the first developments within the wider project.

Central to our scope is our GeoFlow™ surface testing package, combined with wireline logging and integrated data acquisition. Our technologies enable accurate geothermal reservoir characterization and fluid analysis, providing the high-quality data needed to optimize performance and reduce development risk.
