Supporting decarbonization while generating economic returns

We delivered a scalable solution in the Middle East and North Africa to eliminate routine flaring during well testing, recovering methane for export, reducing emissions by ~13K tonnes CO₂e, and generating additional revenue while maintaining safe, reliable operations.

An upstream operator committed to the World Bank’s Zero Routine Flaring by 2030 initiative sought a practical, scalable solution to eliminate flaring during well testing operations, without compromising safety, reliability, or production integrity. This required a practical and scalable solution to recover gas and integrate it into existing infrastructure.

We answered the challenge with a mobile zero-flaring well testing package, combined solids management, separation, gas measurement, and temporary export infrastructure. This enabled gas to be routed directly from multiple sites into production pipelines.

Since 2023, our solution has delivered significant environmental and economic benefits. Approximately 200 MMscf of methane has been captured, preventing around 13,000 tonnes of CO₂e emissions and generating an additional $680,000 in revenue from gas that would otherwise have been wasted.
