Expro’s client had the requirement for a subsea safety system on a jack up to provide well barriers and coil tubing cutting capability during completion deployment and well flow back operations
Expro Excellence
- Expro supported our client with the provision of a primary and back up SSTTA system, along with surface tree, hydraulic flat pack control liner and hydraulic control system
- Equipment was deployed ‘in-hole’ for 93 days (over 2,200 hours) and operated 90 times with no operational downtime attributed to Expro equipment
- JPR compiled by client with 100% score for both equipment and personnel
Value to Client
- Expro maintained operation up time during the extended completion deployment and commissioning operations
- Expro’s equipment provided coil tubing cutting capability below the rig drilling Blow Out Preventor (BOP), ensuring safety integrity during the completion commissioning campaign
