After displacing the previous incumbent of over 20 years; to provide safe and high performing DST and TCP services to ONGC on a wide range of offshore standard and HPHT oil and gas well applications on jack-up and semi-submersible rigs and drillships off India's west and east coasts
Operations commenced in September 2016 on what is the world's most active E&A offshore contract, averaging 2 to 3 jobs per week, mostly on the west coast out of Mumbai, but also captures some east coast wells out of Kakinada
Most wells have multiple zones of interest; hence DST tools also have to be serviced/redressed at the well site. In all cases TCP gun loading and firing head assembly is done at the well location; i.e. onboard the offshore vessel
With heightened activity in DST and TCP and other product/service lines, Expro has since invested in a new customised base in Navi Mumbai, to maintain high quality service delivery
