- Expro’s Radio Remote-Control (RRC) Tong System was the first wireless technology introduced that allowed the completion running equipment to be operated from the safety of the driller’s cabin
Value to Client
- The Expro RRC Tong System successfully removed two personnel from the Red Zone and eliminated 15.8 man-hours of Red Zone exposure during the completion of the well. The RRC Tong System was integrated as part of the standard completion equipment package on the rig and has successfully run four completions to date
