- The client was looking for a service company who was able to provide full cycle project execution including design, build, installation, and commissioning as well as operational capabilities in a desert environment
- Expro provides design, supply, installation commissioning, and ongoing operations and maintenance for a major client. Our offering includes Well Services, Wellhead Facilities, Pipelines, Compressor Stations, Mercury Removal Facility, Gas Processing Plants and Early Production Facilities at various sites in the region
- The existing Oily Water Treatment Package at the client’s facility was not meeting the required operating specifications and Expro were requested to review the package in two phases. The first was finding a solution for the treatment of oily water that would potentially integrate with the existing treatment package or to replace the existing system to ensure that treated water would be following the client’s specifications
- Expro considered an economical approach for the client where Expro’s system would work with the existing system to provide a lower cost option. Expro would then design, build, and install an Oily Water Treatment Package that would integrate with the existing facilities. Once performance tests demonstrated compliance with the quality expected, Expro would then operate and maintain the package
- Expro assisted the client in developing an efficient and cost-effective design of modular facilities that would use proven advanced technologies that would ensure the high uptime at the existing facility and maintaining their excellent safety record
Expro Excellence
- Expro designed the Oily Water Treatment facility for separation and treatment of 120 m3/hr of inlet fluid received directly from the client
- Expro offered a compact, fast track solution that would enhance the performance of the existing system to reduce the cost to the client and then provided commercial options over a four-year operation period
- Expro’s contract solution included the design, supply, installation supervision, commissioning, and four years of operations and maintenance services
- Expro offered a delivery schedule that aligned with the client’s development program and utilised the excellent working relationships with our appointed vendors and technology partners
Value to Client
- Expro’s commercial terms offered a significant benefit to the client allowing for a lower up-front expenditure and ongoing terms that extended their costs over the project duration aligning with their planned production revenues
- Expro designed and constructed a bespoke, compact modular facility, which would be cost effective for the client by integrating with, rather than replacing the existing system. Expro provided for in-country support at the facility site and the utilisation of a full-service O&M office within the area of operations
- The customer appreciated the ‘hands-off’ approach to the package design, delivery and planned integration into their existing facilities which had significant commercial advantages for the client. The scheduling for the final installation and commissioning would also take place during a planned shutdown to minimise production downtime. The client elected Expro as a trusted partner to deliver a fit for purpose solution with limited oversight from them to achieve their goal
