- Expro’s customer wanted to increase gas production from its field but was limited due to their process facility capacity
- The customer’s joint venture (JV) partners however had spare production capability at their nearby facilities
- An initiative was discussed and agreed between the customer and JV partners to allow production to be shared across the facilities
- An effective solution was therefore required to monitor the gas production from each facility
- The customer approached Expro as their incumbent well flow management provider to design and supply a high accuracy measurement package to quantify the production shared between facilities for rate allocation purposes

- Expro has a long-standing relationship with the customer and the JV partners, having provided a continuous record of safe, efficient, and cost effective well flow management and data acquisition solutions to them for several years
- A high-volume well flow management package from within Expro’s asset fleet was proposed to process and measure production between the two facilities
- Data collection using Expro’s EDGE data acquisition system delivered the customers requirement for real-time data acquisition, flow measurement and reporting
- Expro’s real-time data transmission using the cloud-based Data to Desk service allowed the customer to continuously monitor production between the two facilities, either from local offices or any mobile device 24/7

- A key driver for the project was the increasing demand for gas production requiring a fast-track solution to be implemented
- A collaborative approach and the provision of all necessary well flow management components and services on a fast-track basis has enabled increased gas production through the shared facilities
- 24/7 access to accurate gas production rate data has enhanced the partners operation of the facilities
